Locum tenens anesthesiologist coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

Hampton Roads, Virginia is a region that offers a range of cultural, historical, and outdoor attractions suited to a variety of interests. Visitors may explore Fort Monroe National Monument, Buckroe Beach and Park, Bluebird Gap Farm, and the Virginia Air and Space Science Center. The anesthesiologist will provide locum tenens coverage during day shifts at a large hospital operating room. Shift options include 8-, 10-, and 12-hour schedules, with a preference for 5x8-hour shifts; overtime is available after the scheduled shift. Case types include general anesthesia, cardiac catheterization lab, spinal, epidural, regional OB, spine, complex vascular, complex orthopedic procedures, ventilator management, and central lines. Call coverage is required, with clinicians expected to be available for weeknight and/or weekend call; the pager call ratio is 1 in 14, with the full call schedule pending.
