Intake Counselor -PRN

Responsibilities As an Intake/Assessment Counselor (PRN) you will assess callers and patients in the 24/7 Intake Department, determine appropriate level of care, conduct clinical assessments, and work with patients, families and physicians. Respond to telephone and face‑to‑face inquiries for mental health services. Conduct clinical assessments and determine appropriate treatment options. Ensure patients and families understand admissions and treatment process. Discuss clinical issues with physicians to determine next steps. Collaborate with other departments to address patient needs. Qualifications Minimum one year of intake/assessment experience, preferably in a crisis intervention environment. Master's degree in counseling or a related field. License‑eligible in the state of practice.
