Salary Range: $65,000 – $70,000 annually, plus commission

Position Summary

We’re looking for a personable, organized, and creative Client Relations & Garden Design Manager to join our growing gardening and lawn maintenance team.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves plants, beautiful landscapes, and working with people. You’ll build strong relationships with residential clients, help develop gardens and landscapes, and ensure our clients receive exceptional service from the initial consultation through ongoing maintenance.

As our Client Relations & Garden Design Manager, you’ll be the bridge between our clients and our field team. You’ll visit properties, listen to clients’ needs and ideas, recommend improvements, and help create beautiful, practical outdoor spaces that our team can bring to life.

Key Responsibilities

·         Develop and maintain strong relationships with residential clients

·         Meet with clients at their properties to discuss gardening and landscape needs

·         Create seasonal garden planting recommendations

·         Recommend plants, shrubs, trees, flowers, and seasonal color based on the property and client preferences

·         Prepare proposals and estimates for garden installations, enhancements, and maintenance services

·         Conduct property visits and follow up on completed work

·         Proactively identify opportunities to improve and enhance clients’ landscapes

·         Address client questions and concerns promptly and professionally

·         Help ensure our team consistently delivers a high-quality, detail-oriented service

·         Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the season

Qualifications & Skills

·         1-3 years of experience in sales in the landscape industry

·         Creative with a strong eye for design, color, texture, and composition

·         Organized and able to manage multiple clients and projects

·         Confident conducting property consultations and presenting ideas

·         Knowledgeable about plants, horticulture, or landscape design

·         Comfortable working outdoors and visiting residential properties

·         A strong communicator who enjoys building long-term relationships

·         Familiarity with Microsoft Office

·         Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, horticulture, landscape design, or a related field is preferred

Compensation

Total compensation will vary based on experience and performance. This position offers the opportunity to earn commission based on individual sales performance and achievement of established sales targets.
