Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering strictly to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, address errors proactively, and ensure all lab instruments undergo regular maintenance and calibration.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Keep thorough documentation of all procedures, assist in training new staff or students, and help maintain high quality standards within the lab.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health field, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hiring.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment.
