PAYROLL ANALYSTThe Sr. Payroll Analyst plays a vital role in our finance team, bringing strong operational experience in full-cycle payroll processing. We're seeking a candidate who excels at multitasking, prioritizing tasks, showing accountability, and exercising sound judgment, while working independently to meet demanding deadlines. RESPONSIBILITIES:Work independently to provide prompt, friendly, and efficient customer service to employees who have questions regarding their pay, deductions, or the payroll processManage multiple parts of the weekly, bi-weekly, and global payroll processing for the entire company and ensure that each is delivered on timeAssist the manager or supervisor with day-to-day task planning and special projects as neededDevelop, maintain, and manage frequent updates to multiple databases, spreadsheets, reports, etc.Become the subject matter expert for one or more areas related to the company payroll process BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree4+ years of professional experience in payroll Experience with UKG and Workday products/services PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Experience with basic enterprise level payrollExperience processing payroll for a large company, operating in multiple locations and statesGeneral understanding of multi-state taxationDemonstrated history of growth and increasing responsibility in current and previous rolesExperience with payroll processing related to stock transactionsProficient computer skills, including ExcelAbility to analyze high volume of transactions and dataExcellent technical, analytical, and communication skills, both written and verbalBilingual in Spanish ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Willingness to work long hours and weekends when needed to meet critical deadlinesThis position is based in Hawthorne, CA, and requires being onsite - remote/hybrid will not be consideredCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:Pay Range:Level 3: $120,000.00 - $175,000.00Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
