Payroll Analyst
Solomon Page
Our client, a global entertainment company, is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join their team! This will be a fully onsite role working out of their office in Hollywood. The successful candidate will possess multistate union and non-union payroll processing expertise, the ability to foster strong relationships with employees and business partners, and the ability to work in a high-volume environment.
- Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.
- Contract Role: 6 months
- Pay: $43-47/hr on W2 (No C2C or 1099)
- Schedule: Fully onsite M-F, 9am to 6pm, 1 hour unpaid lunch
- End-to-end processing of union and non-union payroll
- Set up and process employee garnishments
- Perform payroll adjustments in SAP
- Maintain knowledge and compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Audit and reconcile payroll data to resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with multistate taxation rules
- Provide payroll system testing support as needed for software upgrades
- Bachelor's Degree or a completed payroll certification is preferred
- 3+ years of multistate payroll processing experience within a large organization
- Prior experience processing union payroll within the entertainment industry
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (X/VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, etc.)
- Prior experience with SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) is highly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
