Facilities SupervisorThe Facilities Supervisor is a hands-on, tactical leader responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, safety, and operation of the organization's facilities, grounds, and vehicle fleet. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this role ensures that all physical assets are well-maintained, compliant, and support high-quality service delivery.This position executes operational priorities on the ground, including preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and vendor coordination. The Facilities Supervisor directly supervises facilities staff, manages daily work assignments, and responds to urgent issues to ensure safe, clean, and fully functional environments.Aligned with the organization's mission, this role supports environments that promote dignity, accessibility, and opportunity for individuals with disabilities and their families.Key responsibilities include:Facilities & Grounds Operations (Hands-On)Perform and oversee routine maintenance and repair of facilities, grounds, and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, light construction, and general upkeep.Conduct preventive maintenance, perform snow removal, and maintain facilities in a safe, clean, and hazard-free condition.Fleet ManagementOversee the maintenance and readiness of the organization's vehicle fleet, conduct monthly vehicle inspections, coordinate repairs, and ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.Inspections, Compliance & SafetyConduct routine safety walkthroughs, complete required inspections and compliance documentation, schedule and coordinate external inspections, and identify and address safety and health concerns promptly.Vendor & Service CoordinationCoordinate and oversee work performed by external contractors, schedule recurring services, obtain quotes, and coordinate small-scale projects and repairs.Team Supervision & Work ManagementSupervise and schedule facilities staff, assign and track work orders, and communicate effectively with internal teams regarding maintenance needs and project updates.Operations Support & Asset ManagementMaintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, track and document maintenance activities and service records, and support implementation of systems, processes, and operational improvements.On-Call & Emergency ResponseParticipate in and coordinate 24-hour emergency response coverage as needed, and respond to urgent facility or fleet issues to ensure safety and continuity of operations.Qualifications include:High school diploma or GED requiredFour years of experience can be a substitute for educational requirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience in comparable work with transferable skillsValid driver's license and acceptable CORI/background check requiredStrong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentPhysical requirements include:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with frequent lifting/carrying of up to 25 lbsFrequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and twistingAbility to perform physically demanding maintenance tasks in various environmentsMission alignment includes:Support safe, accessible, and inclusive environments for individuals with disabilities and their familiesDemonstrate respect, responsiveness, and accountability in all interactionsContribute to a culture of teamwork, shared responsibility, and service excellenceSchedule: Monday through Friday 7AM-3PM 28.93 per hour
