Legal Billing Specialist

San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)

We are looking for a legal billing professional for an excellent company in San Francisco, CA. This would be a direct hire hybrid position. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, edit, and finalize client invoices in accordance with engagement agreements and billing guidelines.
• Process monthly billing cycles, including pre-bills, revisions, and final invoice distribution.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with client billing requirements, including e-billing submissions.
• Respond to attorney and client inquiries regarding billing matters.
• Track and resolve invoice rejections, billing discrepancies, and payment issues.
• Maintain accurate billing records and client account information.
• Collaborate with attorneys and administrative staff to ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Assist with accounts receivable follow-up and collections activities as needed.
• Generate billing and financial reports for management review.
• Support month-end and year-end accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of legal billing experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Knowledge of legal billing procedures, client guidelines, and e-billing platforms.
• Experience preparing and processing high-volume invoices.
• Proficiency with legal billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
