Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development, Ophthalmology

Responsibilities
- Lead clinical development strategy and regulatory submissions across Phase 1, 2, and 3 programs
- Serve as medical expert and scientific leader in external and internal stakeholder interactions
- Design and execute efficient clinical trial programs with focus on shortened development cycles
- Ensure patient safety oversight and post-marketing surveillance signal detection
- Draft regulatory submissions and responses to agency questions; oversee clinical documentation quality
Requirements
- MD or equivalent medical degree with ophthalmology board certification or eligibility
- Minimum 4 years industry experience in early or late clinical development
- Experience leading proof-of-concept and registrational clinical trials with protocol design expertise
- Knowledge of global regulatory requirements and ICH pharmaceutical development standards
- Strong academic background acceptable for candidates with less than 4 years experience
Compensation: $333,300-$450,900 annually
