Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development, Obesity

Regeneron seeks a Senior Medical Director to lead clinical development strategy for obesity programs, overseeing Phase 2/3 study design, regulatory submissions, and patient safety. The role combines scientific leadership with cross-functional collaboration across discovery, operations, and global safety teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop clinical strategies to accelerate development timelines within evolving regulatory frameworks
• Design and oversee Phase 2/3 clinical programs with focus on efficiency and robustness
• Partner with discovery teams on target validation and lead Phase 1 PK/PD safety characterization planning
• Ensure clinical study safety and support post-marketing surveillance signal detection
• Prepare and review clinical documents, protocols, investigator brochures, and regulatory submissions

Requirements

• MD or equivalent advanced medical degree
• Clinical training in Endocrinology or Obesity medicine, board certified or eligible
• Minimum 4+ years clinical development experience in industry
• Demonstrated expertise in protocol design and study team execution
• Experience with regulatory filings and health authority interactions preferred

Compensation: $333,300–$450,900 base
