An experienced Occupational Therapist is needed to support student success during a maternity leave assignment spanning two elementary schools and providing consultative services to a private school student in the Acworth, GA area. This full-time role runs from early November to late January, with potential extension into February.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Georgia
• Previous experience working in school settings
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Dedication to collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Adaptable, compassionate, and eager to make a difference

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services for elementary-aged students
• Complete assessments and participate in IEP meetings
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
• Consult with classroom staff to implement accommodations and supports within school environments
• Provide ongoing communication with parents and guardians

Additional Details:

• Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
• Contract position for maternity leave coverage (November 2nd – January 29th; possible extension to February 26th)
• Dynamic caseload spread across two elementary schools and one private school student
