This contract position is designed specifically for professionals passionate about supporting students before and after school hours, especially those requiring focused behavioral support. By working directly 1:1 with students who have behavioral needs, you will help provide a positive, structured environment and deliver ongoing encouragement to promote student growth and success.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience in school-based or behavioral/Special Education (SPED) settings highly preferred
• Background as a Paraprofessional, Behavioral Health Assistant, or similar role recommended
• Strong communication skills and the ability to foster supportive student relationships
• Commitment to maintaining a respectful, inclusive learning atmosphere
• Comfortable working with a behavioral caseload in a 1:1 setting
• Willingness to provide toileting assistance as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students individually throughout the ELOP program before and after school hours
• Implement individualized behavioral strategies under the guidance of educational staff
• Assist with daily routines, including transitions and personal care
• Encourage and reinforce positive behaviors and social skills
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to optimize student engagement and progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate student progress as needed

Details & Schedule:

• Contract begins August 11, 2026 and concludes June 3, 2027
• Split shifts: AM (6:30 AM–8:00 AM); PM (Monday: 1:00 PM–6:00 PM; Tuesday–Friday: 2:18 PM–6:00 PM)
• Hourly compensation of $24.43
