Procurement Specialist IAs a Procurement Specialist with OMES you will enjoy:Generous leave including 15 days of vacation, 15 days of sick leave and 11 paid holidays annually.A comprehensive Benefit Package with a generous benefit allowance to offset the cost of insurance premiums for employees and their eligible dependents.Job DetailsFull-time 40-hour work weeks.Support the Capital Assets Management Department.Salary is up to $59,340.00 based on education and experience.This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, OK.Position SummaryThis position provides financial tracking of P-Card expenditures, maintains complex purchasing records for maintenance contracts, and assists with the acquisition of goods and services used for routine and emergency facility functions.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare invoices and payments of claims, requisitions, purchase orders, etc.Requesting and tracking change orders as needed.Issues service work ordersAssist with contractsAcquisitions of goods and servicesResearch and acquisition of repair parts for complex heat and air systemsResearch and acquire repair parts for plumbing fixtures and piping, and electrical system partsInventory and control of assortment of replacement parts for building systemsInterprets and advises internal and external customers on departmental or program rules, regulations, and lawsMay establish educational and/or training programsMaintain organized electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other materialsPerform administrative dutiesAssist in energy management software entryOther duties as assignedPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThis position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. This position requires standing, bending, crouching, reaching, sitting, hand and finger dexterity.
