Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments utilizing standardized tools to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use needs effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Embrace Life, you will work with a diverse client population that includes adolescents, adults, and families experiencing challenges related to mental health disorders and substance use. You will address a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice as a mental health counselor in New York State.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience delivering mental health and substance abuse treatment services.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and foster a therapeutic relationship.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
