Computational Physicist for AI Model Training [Remote]

Apply deep computational physics knowledge to produce detailed, real-world walkthroughs that demonstrate how AI coding agents solve advanced computational problems. Your contributions will directly shape how next-generation AI systems learn, reason, and perform by supplying high-quality examples, technical feedback, and clear documentation. This is a contractor, remote role working on a customer project advancing AI systems. No prior formal experience in AI is required; domain expertise and practical use of agentic tools are what matter.

• Provide step-by-step, real-world walkthroughs of computational physics problem solving using AI coding agents in complex technical scenarios.
• Demonstrate agent workflows for tasks such as navigating large codebases, debugging subtle issues, and developing sophisticated features.
• Showcase use of specific agentic tools, including Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork, for sequence-generation tasks rather than chat-based interactions.
• Document and clearly articulate approaches, decisions, methodologies, and the agent-driven sequences used to reach solutions.
• Assess and describe how agentic tools contributed to architectural changes or resolved ambiguous computational challenges.
• Produce high-quality example artifacts and technical feedback that improve model training and evaluation.
• Communicate findings accurately and effectively in both written and verbal formats, producing detailed technical documentation.

• Advanced, hands-on experience in computational physics, with a demonstrated record of technical problem solving or research.
• Proficiency in Python and comfort working inside large-scale code environments.
• Demonstrable history using AI coding agents, specifically Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork, in real-world settings.
• Recent or current experience as a STEM professional applying agentic AI tools to technical workflows beyond basic coding support.
• Experience generating agent-driven sequences for problem solving, not limited to chat-style interactions.
• Familiarity with debugging, architectural change management, and integrating agent tools into development workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on producing clear, detailed technical documentation.
