Senior Litigation Paralegal
Full-service Texas firm seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal for their Houston office. The firm provides a very collaborative and team-oriented environment.
Schedule: 100% in office
Hours: 8am-5pm
Benefits: Parking is 100% paid and they offer full benefits
Key Responsibilities/Details:
- The docket they will be working on is primarily a commercial litigation docket with a little oil and gas and bankruptcy
- Must have some commercial litigation experience. These are large voluminous cases.
- Must be tech savvy and experience with eDiscovery platforms.
- Assist with discovery responses and document productions.
- Docket deadlines
- Extensive communication with experts
- Assist with trial preparation and attend trial
- No real billable requirement
Requirements:
· 5+ years litigation experience. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered. · Proficient with local, state, and federal filing rules · Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat. · Strong technical skills · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Familiar with any document management system, preferably iManage. · Detail oriented and able to prioritize, multi-task, and work well under pressure. · Professional, polite, and positive client-centric attitude.
Work Location: Full-time in Houston office
