Overview:
Our surgical practice in Rochester is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to support spine surgery cases, including some cranial procedures. This role offers extensive new grad training and mentorship, with responsibilities spanning surgery days, post-op office visits, and hospital rounding.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with spine surgery cases, including some cranial procedures
• Support surgical teams on surgery days
• Conduct post-operative office visits
• Round on hospitalized patients following practice-performed surgeries
• Manage post-op patients in both office and hospital settings
• Review and interpret relevant imaging studies (MRI, CT, X-ray) in a surgical context

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Prior experience in spine surgery, neurosurgery, or orthopedic surgery, including post-op patient management
• Familiarity with spine imaging studies and cranial/neurosurgical exposure
• Current or obtainable DEA registration in New York preferred
