Procurement Operations Coordinator

Detail-oriented and process-minded, the freelance Procurement Operations Coordinator will support Sales & Marketing procurement operations remotely by managing purchase request intake, coordinating contract workflows, and assisting with month-end close activities. Key responsibilities Manage the purchase request intake queue, ensuring completeness and reducing delays Support Slack triage and requester enablement by answering routine questions and escalating blockers Assist with month-end close support by running reports on stale/unbilled POs and gathering accrual data Required qualifications 3-5 years of experience in procurement operations, accounts payable, finance/accounting, or a related field Professional background in managing intake, workflows, and documentation within procurement operations Understanding of financial controls, accounting principles, and budget alignment Experience supporting Sales & Marketing functions Strong detail orientation and problem-solving abilities
