Architect - Healthcare (Hybrid)

A well-established architecture firm in the Detroit area, with more than 50 years as a staple in the community, is seeking an architect to join its healthcare team. The firm maintains a diverse portfolio across multiple sectors and is known for long-term client relationships and a collaborative studio environment.

This role offers a hybrid schedule and the opportunity to support healthcare projects while also gaining exposure to other project types as needed. The position is well-suited for an architect who enjoys being involved across the full project lifecycle and working closely with internal teams and consultants.

Responsibilities:

• Develop design concepts, produce construction documents (CDs), and coordinate consultant efforts
• Support all phases of project work from Schematic Design (SD) through Construction Administration (CA) and project completion
• Coordinate RFI and submittal reviews, drawing revisions, and supplemental construction-phase documentation
• Work collaboratively within a team-oriented studio environment
• Contribute to presentations and maintain organized project documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited program
• 5+ years of professional architectural experience
• Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD
• Experience supporting healthcare projects is preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a collaborative environment
