Research Associate Co-Op, In Vivo Pharmacology Muscle and Metabolism

Keros Therapeutics seeks a motivated research associate co-op for a 6-month role supporting in vivo pharmacology studies in muscle and metabolism. The position involves conducting animal studies, molecular analysis, and protein characterization while contributing to therapeutic development for rare metabolic diseases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in vivo and ex vivo research techniques including animal dosing and tissue collection
• Perform RNA isolation, qPCR analysis, Western blots, and ELISA assays
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and summarize experimental results in study reports
• Participate in team meetings and provide progress updates on assigned projects
• Contribute to experimental design discussions and troubleshooting with colleagues

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in bachelor's or master's degree in animal science, biology, biochemistry, or related field
• Willingness to learn rodent handling, dosing, and animal care techniques
• Strong communication, organization skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated scientific curiosity and problem-solving approach to experimental challenges

Compensation: $28–$32 USD per hour
