Research Associate Co-Op, In Vitro Pharmacology
$28 - $32 per hourKeros Therapeutics
Keros Therapeutics seeks a Biology or Biochemistry undergraduate co-op student for a 6-month Research Associate position in In Vitro Pharmacology. The role involves cell culture maintenance, assay development, and cellular analysis to support drug discovery projects targeting TGF-β signaling pathways.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and culture multiple cell lines for ongoing research
- Develop and optimize cellular assay protocols
- Conduct reporter assays to measure cellular signaling responses
- Perform gene expression and protein detection analyses
- Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory documentation and records
Requirements
- Cell and molecular biology laboratory training with cell culture experience
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational capabilities
- Currently enrolled undergraduate majoring in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
- Strong academic background in biology and chemistry
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Enthusiasm for scientific research and commitment to learning
Compensation: $28-$32 USD hourly
