Project Manager / Stormwater Design Engineer Location Charlotte or Raleigh, NC Dewberry is currently seeking a Project Manager / Stormwater Design Engineer to join our Charlotte or Raleigh office. This role offers tremendous potential for professional growth in a great working environment and the opportunity to apply the latest technology to help clients solve their most challenging problems. Typical projects involve hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater mitigation, stormwater design, storm water master plans, mitigation planning, surface water assessment, and storm water quality for federal, state, and local clients. Responsibilities Participate in the development of proposals Lead business development activities Present at conferences Participate in professional organizations Drive project execution and manage client relationships Perform engineering analysis and develop preliminary and detailed designs of stormwater facilities Write specifications and construction documents Required Skills and Experience B.S. or M.S. Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (or related field), emphasis in water resources. 5+ years’ water resources–related experience. Ability to develop strong client relationships in a Project Manager role. Experience with flood studies, CLOMR/LOMRs a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of hydrology and open‑channel hydraulics. Knowledge/experience with ESRI ArcGIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with basic MS Office software. P.E. certification is a plus.
