Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate and progressive care nursing in both an IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and an IMC Thoracic unit
• Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry, including oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown populations
• Care for patients requiring ventilator management and transplant support
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start, meeting strict pass/fail criteria including 100% identification of lethal rhythms and a minimum score of 80%

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown specialty
• Telemetry, oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
• Ventilator and transplant experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity thoracic patient populations
