Billing Specialist - Legal / Law Firm

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Location: Remote within NJ, IL, PA, NY, FL, or DE; fully integrated with Philadelphia office teams.

Note: Must have 3+ years' experience in legal billing, ideally in a law firm setting, and strong familiarity with electronic billing platforms.

Job Description

• Post and review attorney time entries
• Prepare files for billing and generate pre-bills
• Edit attorney time as directed and review pre-bills for compliance with client guidelines
• Process final billing and maintain billing rates
• Set up new files on electronic billing platforms and submit invoices
• Ensure accuracy of client matter information and resolve billing errors promptly
• Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, and internal teams

Qualifications

• 3+ years' legal billing experience, preferably in a law firm
• Familiarity with electronic billing sites (LSS, Legal Exchange, Collaborati, Tymetrix, Serengeti, etc.)
• Experience with Aderant preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent professional communication skills
