Accounts Payable CoordinatorFinance and Accounting – Virginia Beach, VAMake Your Accounting Skills Part of Something Bigger!The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Finance & Accounting team in Virginia Beach. In this role, you'll help ensure that invoices are processed accurately, vendors are paid timely, and financial records are maintained with care and integrity. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on a combination of education, relevant experience, and demonstrated skills aligned with the role requirements.What You'll DoYou'll play an important role in the day-to-day operations of CBN's Finance & Accounting team, including processing vendor invoices and payments, maintaining accurate financial information, responding to vendor and internal inquiries, and helping ensure accounts payable procedures and internal controls are followed. You'll work with both internal teams and external vendors, so strong communication, organization, and customer service skills are important.What You'll Bring2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experienceWorking knowledge of accounts payable processes, procedures, and internal controlsUnderstanding of basic accounting principles and best practicesProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (sorting formulas, and data management), and the ability to learn new financial systemsExperience with ERP systems (Epicor or similar)Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial processingEffective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal staff and external vendorsStrong customer service orientation with a collaborative and solutions-focused approachExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamFlexible with ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlinesDemonstrated life application of Biblical principles and practices in alignment with CBN's non-profit Christian missionWhy Work at CBNAt CBN, your work supports a global ministry and contributes to the mission of advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
