Lead Infrastructure Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and infrastructure sector, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Linux/Windows systems, automation, and cross-platform infrastructure design. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to innovative projects and support enterprise-level IT environments. Pay Range: $70/hr

What's the Job?

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade software solutions and infrastructure tools with a focus on OS-agnostic systems design.
Automate system administration tasks using Ansible, PowerShell, shell scripting, and other automation tools.
Create and implement Python-based automation scripts to optimize infrastructure operations.
Develop and integrate secure API solutions to support scalable system interactions across diverse environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable, reliable solutions aligned with business needs.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with 8+ years of professional DevOps or software engineering experience.
Extensive experience working with Linux (especially RHEL) and Windows environments in large-scale IT settings.
Proficiency in Ansible for automation, with strong skills in PowerShell and shell scripting.
Hands-on experience with Python for infrastructure automation and tooling development.
Familiarity with the Red Hat ecosystem (e.g., Satellite, RHEL) and enterprise IT management processes.
