Highlights Pay: $64.85/hour Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit: Obs/Gynecology Nursing - MSH Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You'll Do Deliver patient care using the nursing process based on theory and evidence-based practice. Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care, identifying barriers and opportunities for improvement. Document nursing practice accurately to support quality improvement initiatives. Perform charge nurse duties as assigned and coordinate resource utilization. Contribute to the environment of care supporting clinical colleagues and patients. Participate in shared decision-making through nursing department committees and initiatives. Requirements Education Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable if matriculated in a BSN program. Experience Relevant clinical competence in nursing practice; preferred OB/GYN nursing experience.
