Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and establish individualized care plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Treat 2-3 patients per hour, implementing effective therapeutic modalities to enhance recovery.
• Employ advanced manual therapy techniques to improve patients' functional outcomes.
• Promote non-surgical interventions and actively engage patients in their recovery processes, aiming to reduce dependence on medication.
• Design and monitor fitness regimens that promote wellness and continuous improvement in strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare specialists to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment efficacy, document patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize recovery.
• Encourage and motivate patients by creating a supportive environment, inspiring them to reach their highest potential during therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse patient population, including athletes, individuals recovering from surgery, and those facing mobility challenges due to chronic conditions. You will focus on their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain their independence and return to their desired physical activities. This role is particularly suited for physical therapists dedicated to orthopedic outpatient care, offering innovative solutions that enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state-specific Physical Therapist license without any disciplinary action.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for patient documentation and tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, demonstrating success in implementing individualized rehabilitation programs.
• Proven track record of managing a high caseload while maintaining quality patient care.
• Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

Horizons Physical Therapy offers an attractive annual salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
