Assistant Controller

Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities CPA 1. Daily Accounting Activities Monitor daily account activity and cash balances. Review bank account transactions and maintain the cash activity log. Record check deposits in Sage Intacct. Prepare and record intercompany invoices and related payments in Sage Intacct. 2. Accounting Schedules Maintain and update various accounting schedules, including: Japanese tax withholding rate schedules Cash versus accrual schedules 3. Cash Management and Payment Review Review weekly wire activity for accuracy and completeness. Review and approve wire edits as necessary. 4. Quarterly GP Allocation Assist with the quarterly General Partner (GP) allocation process. Collect and review employee timesheets. Update time allocations within the appropriate schedules. Record GP allocation payments in Sage Intacct. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reporting packages. Review the financial statements of subsidiary entities. Review the company general ledger to ensure transactions and journal entries are recorded accurately. Convert financial statements of foreign entities into the appropriate reporting currency. Prepare financial statements for GP entities. 6. GP Capital Activities Prepare and distribute GP drawdown and distribution notices. Maintain year-to-date (YTD) and inception-to-date (ITD) partner capital schedules. Maintain related tax schedules. Maintain and update GP member information. 7. Additional Responsibilities Prepare and file applicable annual tax forms for GP members. Assist with special projects and other ad-hoc accounting assignments as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of progressive or senior-level accounting experience. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or a related field. CPA certification preferred. Experience with Sage Intacct preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and accounting responsibilities effectively. #J-18808-Ljbffr
