Front Desk Manager

Description Love the energy of a busy hotel and helping a team find its rhythm? As Front Desk Manager at Fairfield Inn & Suites Newport Cincinnati in Newport, KY, you'll lead the front desk team at a riverfront hotel welcoming guests visiting Northern Kentucky and downtown Cincinnati. You'll create warm arrivals and help guests feel taken care of throughout their stay. You'll be right there with your team-coaching, celebrating wins, and jumping in when the lobby gets lively. When plans change, or a guest needs help, you'll listen, take ownership, and keep things moving. Clear communication and following through are part of how you work, and you're always open to a better way of doing things. Responsibilities $45 Qualifications • A high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED).
• At least two years of experience in front office management, front desk operations, or a similar position in hospitality or a related field, including at least one year of hospitality experience.
• Experience leading or supervising a guest service team, with a practical, supportive approach to coaching others.
• Strong communication, multitasking, organization, and management skills, with the ability to solve problems and keep competing priorities moving calmly.
• Working knowledge of hotel reservation, property management, and guest account systems.
• The ability to review operational reports and coordinate effectively with other hotel departments.
• Dependable follow-through and a willingness to learn, welcome feedback, and help teammates develop.
• Bookkeeping skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
