Position: Financial Crimes Officer 5Location: Charlotte, North CarolinaDuration: ContractJob ID: 179703Job Overview: The Financial Crimes Officer 5 will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with financial crime regulations and mitigating risks associated with financial crimes. This position requires a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management practices, and the ability to implement effective strategies to prevent and detect financial crimes.Responsibilities:Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial crime regulations.Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.Monitor and analyze transactions to detect suspicious activities and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) regulations.Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address financial crime risks effectively.Provide training and guidance to staff on financial crime prevention and compliance requirements.Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities as required.Stay updated on changes in financial crime regulations and industry best practices.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.Extensive experience in financial crime compliance, risk management, or a related area.Strong knowledge of AML, CTF, and other financial crime regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Relevant certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are a plus.About PTR Global: PTR Global is a leading provider of information technology and workforce solutions.
