Project Coordinator

Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is looking for a Project Coordinator. This position supports project managers by overseeing administrative tasks, ensuring resource availability and the completion of day-to-day scheduling. Global provides heavy industrial cleaning services to utilities, phosphate/mining, chemical plants, pulp & paper, and manufacturing facilities with specialization in hydro blasting and vacuum truck work. We provide customized solutions for sulfuric acid facilities, including preventative maintenance and repairs, and full turn-key turnaround services. We also offer a variety of waste processing and handling services to ensure that waste generated from client sites is collected, transported, and disposed of by local, state, and federal regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Coordinate work schedules, manpower/equipment needs. Work with the team to complete assigned tasks. Communication of schedule to project managers, operations, staff, and other various departments in the organization to make sure everyone is on the same page. Coordinate with the project manager's budget, issues, and risks of the project. Ensures that the project management framework is well-organized and runs smoothly. Manage project management documents such as job packs, budget, schedule, and scope of work, as directed by the project manager. Order supplies for projects and manage the location’s inventory database. Support project managers when implementing risk management strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field (required) Project Management Certifications: Certified associate in project management (CAPM), project management professional (PMP), or similar preferred Experience in the industry (required) Working knowledge of project management software Proficiency with Microsoft Office Attention to detail Must have excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills and be able to interface with employees at all levels of the company. Professional oral and written interpersonal communication. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for this position. PAY $60,000/year
