About the role:

\n

The Technical Service Engineer is responsible for commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing cooling Technical Service Engineer systems in the data center. The role involves traveling to client sites, ensuring equipment operates efficiently, and delivering high-quality service to maximize customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities :

\n

\n
• Commission, inspect, and service cooling systems and related equipment.
\n
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, testing, and calibration of cooling systems.
\n
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues; carry out necessary repairs and adjustments.
\n
• Respond to customer service calls, provide on-site technical solutions, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
\n
• Provide technical training and support to clients on system operation and best practices.
\n
• Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reports.
\n
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to provide feedback for product improvements.
\n
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
\n
• Manage spare parts, tools, and equipment efficiently.
\n
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and uphold high service quality standards.
\n

Minium Qualifications :

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration, HVAC Technology, or related field.
\n
• Proven experience in servicing HVAC/refrigeration/cooling systems.
\n
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and control systems.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
\n
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical components.
\n
• Good communication and customer service skills.
\n
• Willingness to travel frequently and work independently.
\n
• Certification in HVAC/R or relevant trade license (preferred).Familiarity with industry standards (ASHRAE, EPA, F-Gas, etc.) is a plus.

Working Condition :

\n

\n
• Frequent travel to customer sites (regional/national).
\n
• On-call availability for emergency support.
\n
• Exposure to mechanical, electrical, and environmental hazards (with required PPE provided).
\n
• Degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or related field.
\n
• Hands-on experience in servicing cooling products (HVAC, refrigeration, chillers, cooling towers, or similar equipment).
\n
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, refrigeration cycles, and control systems.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and technical manuals.
\n
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
\n
• Willingness to travel frequently and work independently.
\n
• HVAC/R certification, EPA/F-Gas license, or equivalent (preferred).
