This position operates within a remote Detox Center setting, where you will collaborate with a team of other mental health professionals to deliver integrated care. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate clients' psychological and emotional states, incorporating clients’ histories and current concerns.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' specific mental health challenges, focusing on promoting recovery and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed therapy.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and making necessary referrals to hospital settings when appropriate.

• Maintain precise documentation of evaluations, treatment interventions, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including psychiatrists, medical staff, and other social workers to deliver comprehensive care and coordinate treatment approaches.

• Engage clients and their families with psychoeducation about mental health, treatment options, and community resources to support overall wellness.

• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to refine skills and enhance the quality of services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult clients undergoing detoxification and counseling services who are often experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Many clients may have co-occurring disorders, and your role will be pivotal in addressing their mental health needs while they navigate recovery. You will work closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds, requiring cultural sensitivity and a depth of understanding of various life experiences and struggles.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in social work, preferably in mental health or substance use treatment settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
