Industrial Mechanical Technician

West Fraser is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Technician (Millwright) to join our Engineering & Maintenance team in our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair state-of-the-art milling and wood-processing equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Responsibilities include mechanical installations, alignments, preventive maintenance, and root cause analysis of equipment failures. You will work on hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and rotating equipment, while strictly adhering to safety and environmental standards. As part of a dynamic team, you’ll support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate closely with production and engineering to optimize mill performance.
