Exciting opportunity for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to make a meaningful impact working with students in grades 3 through 6! Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Alabama ABESPA SLP Certification and/or AL SLP DOE Certification (one required to start; both needed eventually)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience delivering school-based SLP services preferred
• Demonstrated skill in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and collaborating with educational teams

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of third through sixth-grade students
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and contribute to eligibility determination
• Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain accurate progress documentation for all students on the caseload
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support each student's communication needs in the classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, ensuring student goals and objectives are met and updated as needed
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to support students with varying communication abilities

This contract role involves onsite services for 15 hours per week (two days weekly) through May 2027, providing excellent continuity for both students and staff.
