Step into a dynamic school-based setting as an Occupational Therapist, working onsite across two welcoming locations near Franklin, WI. This full-time contract position begins as soon as possible and focuses on early childhood and elementary-aged students, supporting their learning and daily participation with expert occupational therapy services.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid OT licensure for practice in Wisconsin
- Background in school-based occupational therapy or pediatric populations
- Experience with early childhood and elementary students is highly preferred
- Proficiency with individualized therapy plans, IEP development, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage caseloads across two sites and adjust interventions to unique student needs
- Familiarity with both direct and consultative OT service delivery in schools and home health environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and screenings for students requiring OT interventions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEPs and educational goals
- Provide hands-on, evidence-based therapy to help students increase independence and participation in school activities
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure continuity of care and effective communication
- Travel between two local school sites as needed, delivering consistent and high-quality OT services
- Maintain organized, timely documentation in compliance with local and federal regulations
