Remote Government Contract Closeout & Invoicing Specialist

Position Description & Qualifications Serco is seeking a Remote Government Contract Closeout Billing Specialist to work in a fast‑paced, demanding environment. The role will focus on final voucher packages, expiring/cancelling funds invoices, and maximizing cash flow while meeting FAR and DCMA requirements. Responsibilities Calculate and prepare final government contract project invoices, including invoicing schedules and backup data. Review organizational billing practices to ensure invoice accuracy within contractual terms, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and DCAA requirements. Prepare and analyze schedules for accounts receivable and unbilled receivables. Follow up on collections for invoices until payment is received. Prepare and process final invoices using both a Cumulative Allowable Cost Worksheet and Cumulative Cost Reconciliation method. Apply knowledge of government contracting concepts, practices, and procedures. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. U.S. citizenship. Minimum 5 years of government contracting billing experience. Experience with Costpoint. Closeout and final invoice experience. Proficient in Excel. Strong collections experience. Knowledge of account analysis and reconciliation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent multitasking ability to meet deadlines. Desired Experience and Skills Bachelor's degree. Experience with WAWF or other government electronic invoicing systems. Impromptu.
