Consumer Support Specialist Administrative Support( Entry Level)/ Receptionist Stoughton , Massachusetts Contract To Hire Sep 14, 2026 The Consumer Support Representative is responsible for assisting consumers with questions, concerns, account inquiries, and service requests while providing a high level of customer service. This position serves as a primary point of contact and works to resolve issues efficiently while creating a positive consumer experience. Responsibilities Respond to consumer inquiries by phone, email, chat, or other communication channels. Provide accurate information regarding products, services, accounts, policies, and procedures. Research and resolve consumer complaints and service issues. Process consumer requests, account updates, payments, refunds, or other transactions as needed. Document all consumer interactions and resolutions in company systems. Escalate complex or sensitive issues to the appropriate department or supervisor. Follow up with consumers to ensure concerns have been properly resolved. Maintain accurate and confidential consumer records. Work collaboratively with internal departments to address consumer needs. Identify recurring issues and recommend opportunities to improve the consumer experience. Meet established service, quality, productivity, and response-time goals. Perform other duties and administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 1–3 years of customer service, consumer support, call center, or administrative experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities. Ability to remain professional when dealing with difficult or upset consumers. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based customer service or CRM systems. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong commitment to customer service and consumer satisfaction. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a high-volume customer service or call center environment. CRM, case-management, or ticketing-system experience. Bilingual skills are a plus. Experience handling confidential consumer information. Compensation Compensation: $21-22.50/hr Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
