Compensation & Total Rewards Lead | US & Canada Focus (Hybrid) Our insurance industry client is seeking an experienced Compensation & Total Rewards Lead (Contract) to lead a comprehensive market benchmarking and internal compensation review, primarily across the United States and Canada. This is a high-impact role focused on ensuring compensation structures are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business strategy, with a strong emphasis on actuarial career paths and credential progression (ASA/FSA). Responsibilities Lead market benchmarking across Life, P&C, and Health actuarial consulting (salary, bonus, total rewards) Analyze internal compensation data to assess equity, progression, compression, and outliers Develop structured salary ranges and compensation frameworks by role, level, and actuarial credential progression Evaluate total rewards programs (benefits, incentives, exam support) and recommend enhancements Deliver clear outputs (compensation bands, guidelines, dashboards) and present findings to senior stakeholders Qualifications 5+ years of experience in compensation, total rewards, HR analytics, or finance Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, modeling, large datasets) and strong PowerPoint capabilities Experience with compensation surveys and benchmarking data Background in insurance, actuarial, consulting, or professional services preferred Familiarity with actuarial credentials (ASA, FSA, exam progression) is a strong plus Hybrid Locations New York, NY Atlanta, GA Boston, MA Chicago, IL Dallas, TX Detroit, MI Houston, TX #J-18808-Ljbffr Suzanne Snell Human Resources & Recruiting
