Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to integrate work into the academic schedules of schools while collaborating closely with educational staff. You will enjoy a rotating schedule, including evenings and weekends, ensuring that we are accessible to our clients’ needs at all times. The ability to communicate effectively in a virtual environment is essential as you will be interacting with students, parents, and a multidisciplinary team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments that evaluate students' mental health status, identify strengths, and determine their specific needs.

• Deliver various evidence-based therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy or dialectical behavior therapy tailored to individual student needs.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, educational professionals, and care coordinators to ensure coordinated and holistic treatment plans.

• Educate students and their families about their diagnoses, treatment options, and the role of medications in management plans.
\n
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, effectively utilizing evidence-based modalities to promote mental well-being.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team, integrating patient goals, preferences, and feedback.

• Assist patients in navigating the complex mental health system and advocate for their rights and needs within both educational and community settings.

• Organize and facilitate therapeutic groups, psychoeducation sessions, and discharge planning meetings to support ongoing care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses specifically on students and their families within a school setting, addressing the diverse mental health challenges that arise in educational environments. You will work closely with children and adolescents, many of whom may be facing issues such as anxiety, depression, stress related to academic performance, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits\n
