We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in New Holland, Pennsylvania on a Contract basis. This short-term opportunity is expected to last approximately one to two months and is ideal for someone who can step in quickly to support a high-volume accounts payable workload. The schedule offers flexibility, including the possibility of fewer than 40 hours per week, while focusing on timely and accurate invoice and payment processing.
Responsibilities:• Process a high volume of accounts payable transactions with accuracy and attention to deadlines.
• Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system in accordance with company procedures.
• Prepare and complete check runs to ensure vendors are paid on time.
• Reconcile invoice details and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with internal stakeholders as needed.
• Help reduce the existing backlog by prioritizing outstanding payable items and maintaining organized records.
• Support day-to-day accounts payable operations while adapting to shifting workload needs during the contract period.• Demonstrated hands-on experience in accounts payable within a fast-paced business environment.
• Strong working knowledge of invoice coding, invoice entry, and payment processing.
• Experience preparing check runs and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Ability to manage a contract backlog efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Availability to start promptly and contribute effectively in a short-term contract role.
