Overview Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $48,600 - Midpoint: $60,800 (Salaried E7) Department/Organization: 502702 - Campus Financial Affairs Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Job Summary The Accountant I prepares, reconciles, and audits budgets under general supervision. Prepares financial reports, invoices, schedules, and/or statements. Completes journal entries. Reviews, analyzes, and approves expenditures. Determines fund balances. Ensures compliance with applicable laws, University policies, and procedures. Required Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related financial field. Skills and Knowledge Proficiency in working with personal computers and standard application software. Preferred Qualifications Experience with printing and bindery operations. Experience with Banner.
