The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (MFWP) Area Resource Offices (ARO) provides information and services to the hunting, fishing, and recreational public within the region. The regional ARO's support and coordinate all activities of Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks with direction and support from the Regional Headquarters office. The Front Desk unit, under the direction of the regional office manager, provides customer service to the sportsmen/women of the state of Montana and technical and administrative support to all programs at the MFWP Regional Headquarters. This position provides customer service, technical, and administrative support to all the fish, wildlife, state parks, law enforcement, and information and education programs. Provides customer service duties associated with providing public information and services on a multitude of topics and activities that primarily cover hunting, fishing, trapping, and recreational opportunities in Montana. Collects and handles money associated with license sales. Must be detail-oriented to track quotas for mountain lion, wolves, and furbearer species during their respective seasons. Maintains the lobby's orderliness and cleanliness. Inventories and organizes the publication rack. This position requires advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft 365 (O365).

Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience): The knowledge, skills and abilities of this position are normally attained through a combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma or equivalent and one to two years of job-related work experience. Other combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
