Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our Torrance facility, you will work in a dynamic and supportive onsite environment where interdisciplinary collaboration is highly encouraged. The facility is equipped with modern tools and technologies, ensuring you have access to the resources necessary for effective patient treatment. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM , allowing for a structured yet flexible work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities, limitations, and functional impairments stemming from musculoskeletal conditions.
• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that align with each patient's specific rehabilitation goals, utilizing manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as heat and ice therapy.
• Applying advanced manual therapy methods, including soft tissue mobilization and joint mobilizations, to alleviate pain and enhance the range of motion.
• Designing and instructing patients on exercise programs that promote strength, flexibility, and coordination, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to perform exercises correctly and safely.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously, maintaining accurate records of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries for optimal continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those managing chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will be critical in guiding these patients through their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain independence and improve their daily functioning.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid Physical Therapist License to practice in the State of California.
• A National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a private practice or outpatient orthopedic setting, showcasing your ability to work effectively in a rehabilitation-focused environment.
• Strong manual therapy skills coupled with critical clinical reasoning abilities.

Compensation and Benefits
