The Associate Escrow Assistant is responsible for the specific duties listed below. Responsibilities Provide support to the Escrow department by assisting with customer service and administrative tasks related to escrow closings. Perform secretarial and clerical duties to assist in gathering information and handling funds for escrow closings. Answer phone calls, greet customers, make outbound calls, and obtain various information required for escrow closings. Process opening orders, perform initial file setup, handle the deposit and distribution of funds, prepare written transmittals for funds and documents, manage reconveyances, perform pre-closing file maintenance, and follow up on assigned files after closing. Qualifications High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) required. Strong customer service orientation. Excellent attention to detail. Strong verbal communication skills. One year of related experience in the real estate or title industry is preferred but not required. Pay Rate : $25.00 per hour. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
