Senior Financial Reporting & FP&A Analyst
A highly analytical Finance professional with 8 years of hands-on experience in financial data warehousing (FDW), Power BI reporting, Oracle financial reporting, Workiva, and JD Edwards (JDE). The role is responsible for delivering accurate financial insights, reconciliation, management reporting, and audit/compliance support, while contributing to FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Data Management & Reporting (FDW / Oracle / JDE)
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards for financial and operational metrics.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles.
- Develop advanced Excel-based financial models for forecasting, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Perform GL and subledger reconciliations to ensure alignment across systems (FDW, Oracle, JDE).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports for leadership.
- Utilize Workiva platform for integrated financial reporting, regulatory filings, and audit documentation.
- Support internal and external audits by providing financial reconciliations, schedules, and documentation.
- Identify automation opportunities across reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, Audit, and Business teams.
Required Skills & Expertise
Strong hands-on experience in:
- FDW (Financial Data Warehouse)
- Power BI (dashboarding, DAX, data modeling)
- Oracle Reporting (OTBI / BI Publisher)
- JD Edwards (JDE financial reporting)
- Workiva (financial reporting & compliance platform)
Advanced proficiency in:
- Excel financial modeling and analytics
- Financial reconciliation and reporting controls
Strong knowledge of:
- FP&A processes (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis)
- Management and regulatory reporting
- Audit and compliance frameworks
Experience & Qualifications
8 years of hands-on experience in financial reporting, analytics, and FP&A support
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
MBA / CA / CMA preferred
Key Deliverables / KPIs
Accuracy and completeness of financial reports
Timeliness of management and regulatory reporting
Reduction in reconciliation discrepancies
Audit readiness and compliance adherence
Improved reporting efficiency through automation
