We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful delivery of data centre projects. This role requires a professional with a strong background in commissioning, project and construction management, QA/QC, and electrical systems (COM). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, ensuring quality standards, and delivering results on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end management of data centre projects, from initiation to completion.
• Lead commissioning activities, ensuring all systems and components are tested and operational.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet project objectives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes to maintain high standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to avoid delays.
• Prepare and present regular project updates, reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their requirements and expectations are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in data centre projects or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning, QA/QC, and electrical systems (COM).
• Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in data centre construction and commissioning.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Day-to-Day

• Plan and coordinate daily project activities, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any on-site challenges.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Review and approve project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed and promote a culture of safety on-site.
