Position Overview

We are seeking a CVICU RN to provide high-acuity care for critically ill cardiovascular patients. The RN will care for complex patients, including those requiring ventilators and various IV drips, while working collaboratively with a supportive healthcare team.

Facility Overview

A 323-bed acute care facility located in Ocala, Florida. The facility is an ACS Level I Trauma Center and the region’s only Comprehensive Stroke Center , providing advanced cardiovascular, emergency, neurological, surgical, and rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-focus care to critically ill CVICU patients
• Manage patients requiring ventilators and multiple IV drips
• Serve as a patient and family advocate while maintaining privacy and confidentiality
• Educate patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes
• Provide continuous quality-focused nursing care

Requirements

• 1+ year of recent acute care ICU RN experience within the last 2–3 years
• 2+ years of PCU RN experience may be considered
• Active Florida RN license or approved Multi-State Compact RN license
• Compact license holders must obtain Florida RN license within 60 days after relocation
• Associate Degree required; BSN preferred
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire/transfer
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire/transfer
