Machine Operator – Press Brake & Shear – 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM

Pay: $18+ (Depending on Exp)

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Machine Operators to operate press brake and shear equipment in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable setting up machines, working with different types of metal, reading work orders, and accurately measuring finished parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate press brake and shear machines.
• Load, install, and properly set up tooling as required.
• Read work orders and follow production instructions.
• Process a variety of metals with different characteristics.
• Measure materials and finished parts for accuracy.
• Perform bending, shearing, and other required production operations.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure quality and specifications are met.
• Handle and rig materials/parts using an overhead crane when required.
• Troubleshoot basic machine or production issues.
• Meet established production and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Participate in daily and monthly safety meetings.
• Follow all required PPE and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a press brake and/or shear machine preferred.
• Ability to read work orders and production instructions.
• Strong measurement and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to safely handle metal materials.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to follow safety and quality procedures.
• Must be willing to complete an 8–10 panel drug screen.
